How Much Airflow Does My DIY Fume Hood Actually Have? | CFM Test

The DIY fume hood is built and venting outside — now it’s time to put some actual numbers behind the airflow. In this video, I add a sash to reduce the opening of the hood and then measure the airflow at the face of the hood across each fan level. I walk through the measurements and convert the readings into CFM so we can see how much air the system is actually moving through the opening.
